WHAT READER ARE SAYING

"Analyzing the Prescotts" takes the reader on an emotional journey as we follow a family imploding. Dawn Reno Langley artfully explores gender identity and, through her storytelling, shows us our heart is what matterthat most. With a twist at the end I did not see coming, Langley offers a glimpse into what the best of humanity can be.

I read this book and didn’t want to put it down. It skillfully follows the psychoanalysis of a fractured family dealing with a shocking revelation. Written in the therapist’s point of view, it is fascinating to read. I hope there is a sequel.

Each of the characters in The Mourning Parade captures the heart, especially the ellies. A beautifully powerful story about love, loss, and the bonds of motherhood.

Why I Wrote This Book

Dawn Reno Langley · Author, Fulbright Scholar, TEDx Speaker

Diana Colucci had what it took to get to the very top: the dream of making a name for herself in the world of international antiques–and the beauty and brains to turn her fantasies into breathtaking reality. Leaving the crowded tenements of her girlhood far behind, she became the protégé of a fabulously wealthy Boston Brahmin-moving from the high society of Beacon Hill to the jet-setting royalty of Europe. Transformed into a woman of power and extraordinary passion, Diana was swept off her feet by a dashing South American prince charming… Until her fairy tale romance exploded in devastating heartbreak –and she was plunged into a deadly web of hate and revenge. From Malibu and Rodeo Drive to Paris, London and Rome, she carved out a magnificent empire only to risk losing it all before she found the love she’d been searching for a love beyond the dream, beyond the fantasy, and beyond her heart’s desire.

I wrote All That Glitters to celebrate the antiques world that I was part of for more than two decades. My first novel, it is replete with the knowledge I gathered throughout those years and with the dreams I had of traveling the world. I lived on the streets of Boston where Diana grew up, and her nephews were my nephews. They say you should always write what you know, and I took that advice to heart in order to create this novel.
