Krista Bordon-Hathaway believes her friend Marie lived a fairy-tale life before her tragic death a short time ago. The perfect home in the mountains of Colorado. I wrote Loving Marie in honor of my high school best friend, a woman who died too young. Dealing with my own grief became the catalyst for building a story about the depth of friendship, and the secrets we keep from those closest to us.
