WHAT READER ARE SAYING

"Analyzing the Prescotts" takes the reader on an emotional journey as we follow a family imploding. Dawn Reno Langley artfully explores gender identity and, through her storytelling, shows us our heart is what matterthat most. With a twist at the end I did not see coming, Langley offers a glimpse into what the best of humanity can be.

I read this book and didn’t want to put it down. It skillfully follows the psychoanalysis of a fractured family dealing with a shocking revelation. Written in the therapist’s point of view, it is fascinating to read. I hope there is a sequel.

Each of the characters in The Mourning Parade captures the heart, especially the ellies. A beautifully powerful story about love, loss, and the bonds of motherhood.

Dr. Natalie DeAngelo, a North Carolina Veterinarian, is still suffering from PTSD after a year of therapy trying to deal with the loss of both of her young sons in a school shooting.

Why I Wrote This Book

Dawn Reno Langley · Author, Fulbright Scholar, TEDx Speaker

When heiress Carrie Debary abandons Houston high society for a simpler life in Hawaii, she never dreams she’ll find love with marine biologist Alex Madison. Then an accident leaves her new husband badly injured, and Carrie is drawn into an illicit liaison with Jack Briskin. Returning to Texas, Carrie throws herself into work with the fervor of a woman who wants to forget.

I wrote The Silver Dolphin because of my loves for the beautiful ocean animals who are always in danger due to human beings’ stupidity and neglect for the environment within which the dolphins exist. Though the dolphins were the inspiration for the story’s background, the characters represent the best and worst of us as caretakers of this planet, and I would like to think that their faults are recognizable, as well as forgivable.
