Myths abound in the areas bordering the mystical Belvedere Pond in Northern Vermont, but when Christina Giannelli disappears one foggy autumn night, myths become reality. For three years, everyone searches, including her lover Jesse Harkinson, so when she shows up in his bar with a stunning mane of white hair, he’s shocked. Her hair isn’t the only thing that has changed about Christina. And the people of Montgomery, Vermont aren’t the only ones fascinated in her story. The FBI in their black suits find it hard to hide in a ski town, and they don’t have to. Christina already knows they’re coming for her. But the biggest threat isn’t human.
“Considered a paranormal romance, Jesse and Christina are both believable and quite likable… In just under 300 pages, Langley’s paranormal romance offers the reader entertainment and very serious food for thought. This book will open both your heart and your mind.”

WHAT READER ARE SAYING

"Analyzing the Prescotts" takes the reader on an emotional journey as we follow a family imploding. Dawn Reno Langley artfully explores gender identity and, through her storytelling, shows us our heart is what matterthat most. With a twist at the end I did not see coming, Langley offers a glimpse into what the best of humanity can be.

I read this book and didn’t want to put it down. It skillfully follows the psychoanalysis of a fractured family dealing with a shocking revelation. Written in the therapist’s point of view, it is fascinating to read. I hope there is a sequel.

— Corliss C.

Each of the characters in The Mourning Parade captures the heart, especially the ellies. A beautifully powerful story about love, loss, and the bonds of motherhood.

Dr. Natalie DeAngelo, a North Carolina Veterinarian, is still suffering from PTSD after a year of therapy trying to deal with the loss of both of her young sons in a school shooting.

I wrote Listening to the Sun after being inspired by a mysterious pond near my home in Vermont. The pond reflected the mountains surrounding it as if it was a mirror, and the depth of the pond was legendary with stories about locals being lost in its cold darkness. My imagination built stories about those unexplained disappearances, as well as the possibility that the occurrences were other-worldly.
